Photo manipulation and ethics

Rockets and pictures in different places and settings all around the world. The biggest one was in April of 2003 in Los Angeles. People come out when they are about to launch to take pictures. On April 1, 2007, the Toledo Blade ran a front-page image by photographer Allan Detrich, showing members of the Bluffton University baseball team kneeling in prayer before playing their first game since five of their players died in a bus crash in Atlanta.

I think this type of editing is really realistic, and this lighting is really good for this type of setting.

This is least unethical because you can not see her teeth as bad. Not unless you really stare or zoom in.

National Geographic

This has to be my favorite photo, the out side is so blurry and every things going by so fast. The inside of this photo is so focused and capture everything inside at the same time. The lighting in both settings go very well.

A photo I would take and submit like this would have to be a child on a marry-go-round. To capture movement in a spinning motion but yet sitting still.

Touching people

1. What do you think about this project and photo essay?
I think this project is really cool! I would of never thought to start some thing like this.

2. What would you do if someone approached you with a camera and asked you to participate in a photo shoot and then asked you to touch a stranger?
I'd participate in some thing like this, just to be apart of some thing so awesome and creative like this would be so cool.

3. Think of an unusual photo shoot similar to this one that you think would be fun to go and shoot.
I think a roller rink with strobe and black lights kind of  wold be really cool, and could meet so many different people.

4. Finally, tell me what you thought of the photography, are the photos good? Do you like looking at them?
I really liked that all the settings and poses were very different. Yes, I enjoyed looking at all of them.

40 Greatest photos taken

I really really like this photo , it has so much sentimental. I couldn't imagine saying goodbye to my loved one or the feeling of seeing my loved one after so long! I believe the green stood out in my eyes, how bright and contrasted it is.
I love this picture by Stan Honda, it makes me want to be this old with my best friend Alyssa. It captured so much life and love. The blue shirts really stood out in a grey back ground.
I like this picture, only because I have a soft spot for elderly.I can see the tank must have an impact on his life. I feel like hes really into his feelings about his emotion attachment.

Great black and white photographers, PART 2

Ansel Adams
(1902-1984) was born in San Francisco. In 1927, Adams participated in the Club's annual outing, known as the High Trip, and, the next year, he became the Club's official trip photographer. Also, 1934, Adams was elected as a member of the Board of Directors of the Sierra Club, a role he maintained for 37 years. Ansel didn't really have a job, he spent most time and days taking pictures.
